Understand Cricket Formats, Bet Smarter
Each format has its own pace and strategy — and so do the betting markets. Understanding the right format makes it easier to place smart bets.
Twenty20
20 overs per innings, usually done in 3–4 hours. More quick runs and big shots. Betting opportunities on every ball of the match. BPL and IPL are played in this format.
One-Day International
50 overs per innings, 7–8 hours of play. Strategy is more important. The ICC Cricket World Cup and most major series of Bangladesh Tigers are played in this format.
Test Cricket
Up to 5 days, two innings per team. Pitch and weather play a big role. Long-term betting options are available, including markets on the match ending in a draw.
The Hundred
Only 100 balls per innings, a new format from England. Extremely fast and exciting. Matches finish in even less time than T20.
Popular leagues: BPL · IPL · BBL · PSL — live betting on every league is available at qu9.
How to Read Odds
Odds show the probability of an event happening and how much you could win. There are three main formats:
Decimal Odds (most common)
Example: ৳500 stake × 1.80 = ৳900 total return (৳400 profit)
Formula: stake amount × decimal odds = total return
Implied Probability
Odds of 1.80 means 1 ÷ 1.80 = 56% probability. This means the bookmaker considers this team's chance of winning to be around 56%.
Fractional and American Odds
Fractional (e.g. 4/5) is mainly used in the UK. American odds (+150 / -120) are used in the US. Decimal odds are the default on qu9 — the simplest option for Bangladeshi bettors.

"The live Teen Patti experience is truly great. The dealer speaks in Bengali, the game screen is clear, and even with a slow connection the game doesn't lag. The cashback gets even better once you reach VIP."
"Aviator was intimidating at first, but qu9's support team explained everything in Bengali. Payment with Nagad is very easy. The slots section could be a bit bigger — that would make it even more enjoyable."
